Mapping Earth's Resources

Spectra builds maps from XRF data to accelerate mineral discovery and extraction.

From Points to Patterns

Handheld XRF detectors scan rocks like barcodes — point, click, and instantly read every periodic element between 19 and 92. In recent years, the quality of these scans has improved to the point of being competitive with expensive, multi-week lab spectral analyses. Mining companies increasingly use these detectors for one-off measurements, but there's no good way to organize and visualize thousands of such measurements across time and space.

Spectra combines these measurements across active mining sites, known exploration areas, and some unexplored regions of interest to build unified, high-resolution maps of earth's mineral resources. We help you see where elements of interest like gold, silver, copper, nickel, molybdenum, etc. originate, where they concentrate, and what it means for your operation.
